Community Profile

This is the official community for the convention get together planned for Wellington, November 2005, October 2006, September 2007, October 2008, October 2009, October 2010, November 2011, October 2012, October 2013, October 2014, October 2015, October 2016, October 2017, October 2018, October 2019, October 2020, November 2021, October 2022, September 2023, 5-6 October 2024. It's pan-fandom, and everyone is welcome, be they writers, readers, vidders, artists, lurkers, all of the above, or other. All you have to be is a slasher, by which, of course, I mean a lover of all (or most) things homoerotic, and a connoisseur of fine film, television, and literature. How you define fine is up to you. ;-p

ETA 2015: You don't actually have to be a slasher yourself as long as you're A-OK with the fact that just about everybody else is. We've evolved slightly to more general fandom shenanigans over the years, though our roots are still sunk deep.

ETA 2020: Most regular updates now take place on twitter, get__together with two underscores, so you should follow along there to hear the news as soon as it happens. There's also an (infrequent) email newsletter you can sign up to receive. This journal is mostly an archive, though it will continue to house the official venue information and timetable posts every year.

ETA 2022: We now have a new journal home here at dreamwidth -- don't all rush to ask why we didn't before -- which I will endeavour to update *almost* as quickly and frequently as the twitter feed. :D

ETA 2024: The elongated muskrat killed twitter, and a lot of live action discussion and updates now happen on our discord, but this is once again the official main platform.
