i'm moving cities and trying to declutter in the process, so here's some fannish stuff i'm looking to pass on. mostly Due South related from the early days (i.e. mostly seasons 1 & 2)

PSA: The Lesser Spotted Kiwi Fandoms Fest preliminary notice

At get/together last year, [livejournal.com profile] maudlinrose suggested we have a fest for kiwi fandoms, and I volunteered to run it. The hour is finally at hand! \o/ \o/ \o/

I've created [livejournal.com profile] kiwifandomsfest and have thrown together some preliminary guidelines and dates. Check it out and let me know if you have any questions or suggestions, and how these dates are for you. Van and Munter say "CHOICE!"

Pushing the boundaries of what's acceptable in a post-g/t post, but I simply must abuse modly privilege and share this. It so would have been in my presentation if I'd had it a fortnight ago.

Ladies, the history of fandom in general, and Star Trek in particular.

And I feel compelled to say: Baby!Spock with Nichelle Nicholls, in his dress uniform no less, is quite clearly my son from the future. Sent back into the past somehow.

i'm going to take a punt and post this link to a post on my LJ about the propsed law which will affect all kiwis on this comm. please read it and if so inclined, spread the word, sign the petition, join the protest.

and also, if this isn't allowed, by all means delete this post, but i hope you won't.
