I like slash because: I figure for the same reason guys like lesbian porn. Two guys together are hot. Also, the tabboo thing (especially in ostensibly hetero cop dramas) pushes my buttons.
I discovered slash by: trawling the interwebs for anything Due South related, after mainlining the first two seasons and having my fannishness (though I didn't know at the time that's what it was) burn out of control. I seem to recall I stumbled upon LJ quite quickly, with only a mild diversion into very, very poor fanfic elsewhere.
My bullet proof kink: first time, mild bondage, accidentally did it while half asleep in a small enclosed space we were forced to curl up in together (is there a more efficient name for that?)
My major league squick: necrophilia, incest
My guilty pleasure: Voodoo. It makes me foetal with shame, but I can't help loving it at the same time.
