It's that time again. Oh yes.



Last year china_shop and I ran a get together for slashers and those of like persuasions. You don't have to be a writer, or even on lj. Enthusiastic readers, lurkers, members of old school mailing lists, and passersby are all equally welcome. The only requirement is that hot boys (or hot girls) getting up to mischief that their creators never intended is your cup of tea. And if arguing that their creators *did* intend it is your cup of milo... well, more power to you. Oh, and obviously, it's completely pan-fandom.

China's keen to do it all again, as am I, and I believe vaudevilles is joining us as the third member of the unholy triumvirate. We hesitate to call it a con because it's small and more intimate and less organised than that, hence the g/t tag we decided on. We're based in Wellington, but we encourage anyone from NZ who'd like to make a weekend of it to do so. It's awesome fun. And you Aussies too, you know you want to...

Also, please spread the word to anyone you think might be interested.

Obviously this is a preliminary post to get the ball rolling, and more details will follow shortly. There will also be an initial poll very soon to start gauging appropriate dates. Labour weekend is out due to Armageddon, but if you have suggestions feel free to toss them in a comment below.

You might also want to read back over the posts from last year to get a feel for things, or to get back in the mood. I just did, and it cracks me up how much I've changed. Viz: "Rodney McKay does nothing for me"; "I'll wait for Supernatural to play in NZ". Lies!

The only times I'd be able to go would be mid-semester break (Sept 29th - Oct 15th) and after December 1st (I could have exams up til then).

Flights are tempting, they appear to only be $300 for very long ones via Brisbane, or $430 for direct. Hmmm.

having consulted my timetable, can i put in a plug for the first or second weekend in October, as there are holidays happening. last weekend in October is no good as my sister and neice are coming to visit. other than that i have no preferences.
