U2

Can anyone/everyone who has U2 tickets please confirm when your concert is scheduled for? I understand Sydney is Nov 10/11?

Auckland is 24th and 25th of November.

Uh. Not that I'm ridiculously invested in this or anything. *angelic*

Uh, and for the record, I am also U2-bound on the 9th December, but since that's well out of the Southern Hemisphere I would not expect any one else to be worried about that one...

The rest of the tour dates are all laid out in a really stupidly confusing order here, too. (http://www.u2.com/news/index.php?mode=full&news_id=1967)

Fandom has this mysterious power over me. Where it sort of makes me occasionally get on airplanes and go to other countries. Like... Ireland. And Canada. Um. I try not to question it too much. ;)

*grin*

Is nice to know I'm not, er, the only one, then? :D

Fangirls (and boys, natch!) are totally the best people. *firm nods*

Ditto here, and I'm really looking forward to meeting more local/localish people (as well as [livejournal.com profile] china_shop, that is, since I have a bit of head start there yaye) providing I can make it to the get-together... which, you know, barring U2 or unscheduled unlikely appearances of either Callum Keith Rennie or David Hewlett anywhere near my orbit I should be able to...

One day I have to start using less convoluted sentences again. Heh.

I think that is more than fair. *firm nod*

And, hey, with two of us we could probably make off with him a lot more easily-- not that I'm suggesting any such thing OF COURSE. :D

That's ok. If Hewlett turns up in Auckland china and I will hold the fort and spend the entire weekend fighting over just how much pop to play on your screen. She'll probably want some dS and I'll insist on some BSG and we'll both sulk while that's happening.

Um. Yeah. Let's hope he doesn't show. *g*

*pats you and your restraint admiringly*

Having already seen DH in the flesh, I should be okay, if he shows up in Auckland. However, I may have to go there at some point anyway. My friend will have had her baby by then and I can't just go to NZ and not visit her. I imagine I'll catch a train from Wellington to Auckland. Or something.

Oooh Pop. I can bring some too. I have a 50 spindle disk box full of footage (which doesn't include the purchased DVDs I have).
