1) The Fannish Basics

Who are you and where can we find you (preferred name/user names across your preferred platforms/where you’re most active): Erilyn or Lyn, I have equal chance of answering or being oblivious to either. I read lj regularly but hardly post. I'm ozlyn on twitter (locked) and erilyn-oz on tumblr.

Are you a reader, a writer, an artist, a vidder, a lurker, all of the above, or something else entirely: I am the audience! and co-organiser of Sinpozium (GT's sister con in Sydney)

Wax lyrical about your current fandoms and OTPs: Nothing terribly new, still loving hockey (sport and fandom). Had to take a break from Person of Interest during season 3, but they won me back. Arrow continues to be a surprisingly solid show. Marvel movie-verse is still a source of delight. Ditched Agents of SHIELD very quickly, then picked it up again in second half of the season, and am cautiously optimistic about season 2. Looking forward to Agent Carter!!!

Reminisce with one perfect crystal emo tear for the ship that sank or the fandom that finally faded away: I made an excellent lifechoice to quit watching Teen Wolf after season 3A. I also feel drifting away from Dr Who is paying off.

Any squicks or kinks (be clear which is which, *g*): still not interested in incest and dislike dishonest dubcon (I might read some dubcon, but not so much if the author doesn't realise/acknowledge the issues), still love arranged marriages, woke up marrieds, pretend marriage/dating, wacky misunderstandings and pining, and close to canon AUs (c&p from last year - I am predictable)

Fannish highlight of your year: BEING THERE WHEN THE NSW WARATAHS WON THE SUPER RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP! Seeing Queen in concert (with Adam Lambert) was a major bucket list moment. Sinpozium was a lot of fun!

Favourite new show/movie/comic/source text since last year: probably Captain America 2.

Where do you do the bulk of your fannish interaction? Is there a hotbed of awesome out there that someone might be missing out on? Any specific comms or tumblrs or rec sites or tags we should be following? twitter for active interaction, tumblr for passive interaction/consumption of gifsets, AO3 for fic.

2) The G/T Advanced Section

How many g/t’s have you been to? This will be my 7th - I didn't make it to the inaugral one, 2008 or 2011.

How did you hear about your very first one/from whom/whose lj flist were you on? From

Have you ever done a presentation at g/t? What was it? (Especially if it was in Year 1, 2, or 3, for which records are slightly murky.) In 2006, I did a popfandom presentation (or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Boybands). I know I did an Adam Lambert/American Idol thing, probably 2009. Fast & Furious 4. Glee. Person of Interest last year. Short thing on gay soap storylines. Did I do NCIS sometime, or was that Sinpoz, or did I just think about it?

Best g/t memory ever (or that you can remember right this minute): Way too many to pick from, but flashback to 2006, when a discussion about whether astolat's SGA story Oblivious was non-con/dub-con or not, I accidentally ended up reading the ENTIRE STORY out loud (and holy fuck, did that change my mind about consent issues in it)

Thoughts on how fandom (your more personal experience of it) has changed over the last decade: I'm less active/participatory in some ways, a lot due to changes in my time/energy available. I do look forward to whatever the next fannish home will be, cause tumblr hasn't helped with fandom being less interactive
