Sep. 28th, 2014 10:30 pm1) The Fannish Basics
Who are you and where can we find you (preferred name/user names across your preferred platforms/where you’re most active):
Chris/the_antichris. AO3, LJ/DW, twitter (where I'm most active).
Are you a reader, a writer, an artist, a vidder, a lurker, all of the above, or something else entirely:
Reader, seasonal writer.
Wax lyrical about your current fandoms and OTPs:
I'm really enjoying Nashville, Switched at Birth and Miss Fisher. I still have many feelings about Babylon 5, Sheridan/Delenn and Londo/G'Kar.
Reminisce with one perfect crystal emo tear for the ship that sank or the fandom that finally faded away:
I think I'm done with Doctor Who, at least until Moffat is gone.
Any squicks or kinks (be clear which is which, *g*):
Squicks: non-con, torture.
Kinks: Pining, emotional repression, arranged marriage, marriage of convenience, Together They Make Government
Fannish highlight of your year:
G/T and Yuletide
Favourite new show/movie/comic/source text since last year:
Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries
Favourite AO3/tumblr/twitter tag:
How can I choose among the #murdertags?
Where do you do the bulk of your fannish interaction? Is there a hotbed of awesome out there that someone might be missing out on? Any specific comms or tumblrs or rec sites or tags we should be following?
Nope
Are you taking part in Yuletide or Festivids this year? Are there any other fantastic exchanges we should all know about?
Yuletide
2) The G/T Advanced Section
How many g/t’s have you been to?
I think 8?
How did you hear about your very first one/from whom/whose lj flist were you on?
I met
Have you ever done a presentation at g/t? What was it? (Especially if it was in Year 1, 2, or 3, for which records are slightly murky.)
Can't remember which year, but I babbled about Star Trek:TNG once.
Best g/t memory ever (or that you can remember right this minute):
Stately Luthor Manor strewn with sleeping bags and fangirls.
Thoughts on how Fandom (capital F deliberate) has changed over the last decade:
Like everyone, I think it's got a lot more scattered. It's harder to have conversations and fic in the same place, which means you don't get so many of the conversations *about* fic. It's harder to meet people in a new fandom.
Thoughts on how fandom (your more personal experience of it) has changed over the last decade:
Ten years ago I was just getting into Due South, which got me writing again and brought me some of my dearest friends and memories. Now... I'm not writing so much, I'm less active, but the community, wherever it goes, is still incredibly important to me.
If you’re one of our Venerated Foremothers (ie have stories to tell that pre-date the ark, or at least the internet) please share:
Not quite, but
Any other comments worthy of being preserved for posterity in this banner year?
Just thank you to

I still think our alternate titling system for the X Files was the greatest thing ever.
