get_togetherWhat handles do you go by, and where are we most likely to find you? Mab for general use and on Imzy, mab_browne on LJ, DW and AO3, and Scarlet Manuka on Tumblr. I also have a lurker tumblr for my new (OMG) fandom, but it's lurking so whatevs.
Are you a reader, a writer, an artist, a vidder, a gamer, a lurker, all of the above, or something else entirely? I read and write and lurk a bit.
Wax lyrical about your current fandoms and OTPs: The Sentinel is still an old married love, despite the fandom being pretty moribund these days. I've written slash for The Professionals (hoorah for high def releases) Starsky and Hutch (as Dale Gardener) and Maiden Rose. I have one wee Hannibal story under my belt in my lurker ID. I have a truck-ton of old and casual gen fandoms too.
Reminisce with one perfect crystal emo tear for the ship that sank or the fandom that finally faded away: Well, I still love it, but TS is pretty much on life support these days. I don't ever really give up on fandoms, to be honest.
Any squicks or kinks (be clear which is which, *g*): Never gonna be an RPF fan, but I can deal with hearing about it. My best beloved narrative kinks are partner betrayal and angsty misunderstandings, which are difficult to do well without making people sound like a-holes or silly kids. But when done well, they are completely my jam.
Fannish highlight of your year: Does couch surfing my way through the US with lovely TS fans count? Because if so, then yes, that.
Favourite new show/movie/comic/book/source text since last year: I have joined the Hannibal fannibals, and am very happy with my canon.
Favourite AO3/tumblr/twitter tag: Tags? Bah, humbug! When I was young you had to check out web rings.
Where do you do the bulk of your fannish interaction? Is there a hotbed of awesome out there that someone might be missing out on? Any specific comms or tumblrs or rec sites or tags we should be following? I do Hannibal on Tumblr, the rest of my fandoms are still pretty LJ/Yahoo OMG centric.
Are you taking part in Yuletide or Festivids this year? Are there any other fantastic exchanges we should all know about? My writing-fu has been very weak this year, and I'm not even taking part in my favourite Spook-Me challenge.
