Are you a reader, a writer, an artist, a vidder, a gamer, a lurker, all of the above, or something else entirely?

Writer (mainly of original stuff but there are a few fics swimming round in the mix as well, none of them yet released into the wild).
I also occasionally make fanart but almost never post it (see ‘Champion Lurker’ above).

Wax lyrical about your current fandoms and OTPs: Long-running faves are Supernatural, Sherlock, X-Men and the MCU. Don’t have an MCU OTP as I’m pretty open to everyone/anyone although bonus points for ship pairings involving Loki or Black Widow.
No one will ever convince me Magneto/Professor X isn’t canon. YOU CANNOT TAKE THAT FROM ME THEIR LOVE IS PURE AND TRAGIC. Haven’t checked out much stuff written after X-men Apocalypse yet, since I love long completed fics so there’s usually a lag while I wait for that to happen. I can’t handle incomplete fics because I get too invested and then they stop updating and I am left bereft with too many unresolved feels.

I don’t get too involved in book!fandom but I am currently super-invested in The Dresden Files, Rivers of London, Fitz and The Fool, and Stormlight Archive series.

Fannish highlight of your year: I went to Hobbiton and it was extremely adorable.

Favourite new show/movie/comic/book/source text since last year: I have two: Galavant, which I consider the universe made especially for me after looking deep into my soul and distilling from it 100% pure Camberion catnip. I should send the universe a bottle of wine or something as thanks because it makes me so intensely happy and there is SINGING and MELODRAMA and NO ONE TAKING ANYTHING SERIOUSLY EXCEPT WHEN THEY DO and SELF AWARE HUMOUR and DID I MENTION THE SINGING? And also Galavant IS SO ATTRACTIVE I CAN’T EVEN. Literally the only thing that could make Galavant better would be if everyone suddenly sprouted wings. That’s like, the only thing the universe missed off my BEST THINGS OF ALL TIME list.

Ahem.

Also I have recently got into Lucifer which is sort of in the same vein of comedy + melodrama but with less singing and also they solve crimes + WINGS.
