Wax lyrical (for a moment!) about your current fandoms and OTPs: Definitely comics fandoms and the shows/movies thereof, but they’re a mixed bag and a love/hate relationship. Possibly my most used hashtag on twitter is #dcstilldeadtome, and for good reason. Marvel on the other hand seldom lets me down. Steve/Tony, Charles/Erik, Thor/Loki, Clark/Lex (yes, still, forever), Clark/Bruce (unlikely to flourish with MoS/Batfleck). I’m experiencing a minor Supernatural renaissance (I know, God help me) and Sam/Dean will always be an OTP of my heart.

Reminisce with one perfect crystal emo tear for the ship that sank or the fandom that finally faded away: I can’t believe Sam left Dean in Purgatory for a year, but I blame the writers for that. I also can’t believe there wasn’t a Kirk/Spock renaissance this year, and I blame the Star Trek writers for that! Man of Steel made me weep with rage, and the prospect of Batman vs Superman (even before the casting of Ben Affleck) is just salt in the wounds.

Any squicks or kinks (be clear which is which, *g*): Love mpreg, hate tentacles, infidelity, unwarned for threesomes or non-con. I’m apparently a hypocrite though, because I still want Tony Stark to have an affair with Bruce Wayne. Someone get on that, please.

Fannish highlight of your year: I truly think it has to be cocktails at Matterhorn with the Welly drunks and the way they support/enable my choked retellings of the latest nightmare to issue forth from DC. Also HISS *claw* which amounts to the same thing. And #fataugust which was totally fannish. Me/finedining/cocktails = OT3.

Favourite new show/source text since last year: Game of Thrones definitely. Arrow was pretty cool too considering I watched it with Sydneysiders via twitter. Hannibal made me very sad, and ruined mushrooms forever.
