I know, I know, we're all still in a fandom drought, but there have been some new bursts of fannish squee this last year. Don't worry if you can't do a full 15 or 30 minutes, even five or ten is fine.

Also! There have been some really great retrospectives done over the years. I loved mab_browne's "30 Years Before the Mast" last year, and I'm planning on actually doing the "Ten Years of G/T" thing this year that I was too tired/unwell for last year. If you've got a fannish journey to share with us, please do!

Also of note last year was stickmarionette and shihadchick's tribute to the now vanished Star Wars extended universe. One of these days I'll actually do my long threatened Smallville Renaissance. Have you got an old fandom that featured at g/t way back in the day? Revisit it and let us nod nostalgically (or have our eyes opened) along with you. (Remember when incest shipping was shocking and I warned for the presentation???)

Ok. I do have a duplicate of the remastered set on DVD. I'll bring them, because the difference is pretty killing, in the good way. *g*
