Who are you and where can we find you (preferred name/user names across your preferred platforms/where you’re most active): china_shop on LJ/DW and AO3 (and tumblr, but I don't use it except to post very occasional fic notices). I have a locked twitter, but I only look at it once a week to message someone.

Are you a reader, a writer, an artist, a vidder, a lurker, all of the above, or something else entirely: Writer, vidder (in theory; it's been a while), comm mod, occasional reader.

Wax lyrical about your current fandoms and OTPs: Still in White Collar, still primarily P/E/N (though I've been writing a few [supporting character]/OC pairings lately). The show ended late last year, the finale broke me, and after a month or two of grumpiness, I started writing all the fixits, which turned into a personal White Collar renaissance. But I'm nearing the end of it, I think, and I still don't have another fandom to jump to. I've been watching Wiseguy, and I'd consider dabbling in that, but I think I'd be pretty much talking to myself there, and also there are no female characters. Maybe Battle Creek.

Reminisce with one perfect crystal emo tear for the ship that sank or the fandom that finally faded away: Not fandoms, per se, but I think I've given up on The Good Wife and Elementary. And I'm going to miss Jon Stewart more than I'm currently prepared to admit to myself. I'm frequently nostalgic for the golden age of LJ fandom, but I'm too curmudgeonly to deal with tumblr or, really, other people these days. /o\

Any squicks or kinks (be clear which is which, *g*): I love friends-to-lovers, characters who like each other and have fun at least some of the time, morality and ethics, banter, grouchiness, loyalty, smarts. I'm squicked by human cruelty (including non-con), sociopathy, abuses of power (especially by people acting for the state), unacknowledged dubcon, excessive tears, incest, and kink that isn't safe, consensual and in-character (IMO). I remain immune to hurt/comfort, and blissfully ignorant of a/b/o, werewolf AUs, and many other current trends. arysteia tells me that hipster tattooist AUs are a thing, which I find hilarious, but I haven't been motivated to seek any out.

Fannish highlight of your year: Oddly, the White Collar finale, which made me miserable for weeks, but then spurred me to write a ton of fixit fic (107K words so far and counting).

Favourite new show/movie/comic/source text since last year: Battle Creek, Wiseguy, Jane the Virgin, Lewis, Sungkyunkwan Scandal (Kdrama), Empress Ki (Kdrama), Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Big Hero 6, Spy, Divergent (movies), Will Smith films. Roughly in that order.

Favourite AO3/tumblr/twitter tag: Intimacy is hard
