As always, here's one I prepared earlier.

Registration Form 2016

What handles do you go by, and where are we most likely to find you?

I'm Victoria, I've managed to snag arysteia absolutely everywhere which I remain proud and pleased as punch about, I definitely spend the bulk of my time on twitter, and I have really good intentions about Imzy but I haven't quite mastered it yet.

Are you a reader, a writer, an artist, a vidder, a lurker, all of the above, or something else entirely?

I'm a reader and a writer, but frankly I've done so little of either this year I feel like I should upgrade my main status to fannish organiser/hostess. I'm hugely into comics and always have been, but we're kind of on a break.

Wax lyrical about your current fandoms and OTPs:

I think The Fast and the Furious is still the thing I love the most? Which is coming up on three years now, so it doesn't really count as a flash in the pan any more, it's clearly joined my forever fandoms. There's very little new fic though, so it's like tiny canapés at occasional soirées, rather than a delicious buffet. I am a hungry woman in desperate search of a megafandom smorgasbord. Also a penner of purple prose, over extending this metaphor. Dom/Brian is a forever OTP, but I ship the whole family as a sedoretu.

I had a brief, weird, unexplainable flirtation with Bruce Wayne/Hal Jordan this year, which is perhaps best summed up by my confessing to Tui at midnight on a sultry Chicago summer's night, and her responding, "But isn't Hal a giant penis?" I had no comeback.

More rationally/less embarrassingly, I was super into The Man from Uncle for the month it took me to read all the fic. I'm sad the movie didn't do well enough to get a sequel, because I would definitely be there for more. Illya/Napoleon hit quite a few of my sizekink and manhandling buttons. Not to mention my love of a Well Dressed Man.

Reminisce with one perfect crystal emo tear for the ship that sank or the fandom that finally faded away:

I have an incredible hateboner for the DCEU (which is also a very stupid abbreviation for the movieverse since it isn't extending anything) but you can just look forward to hearing more about that in person. There might even be a powerpoint. Still cold turkey on the comics, coming up on four years now, but I'm willing to entertain recs if you insist something from the new reboot is worth a look.

I'm also kind of burned out on the MCU at the moment, but only in the way that #everythingbecomescharcoaleventually. I'll be at the midnight premiere of Infinity War, no doubt, but in the meantime I'm not reading anything in the fandom, and all the fic I started writing is stuck in WIP limbo. It's the Stucky/Stony shipwar more than anything, given I'm a neutral vessel taking strafing from both sides, but there's no denying that Civil War, much as I loved it as a movie, has had a numbing effect on fic production as well as a polarising effect on over invested shippers. [I reserve the right to eat these words with a dash of Kaitaia Fire if anyone has found any gems in the mire recently.]

Any squicks or kinks (be clear which is which, *g*):

Honestly, I feel like the bulk of my fannish consumption has been #lava this year. None of it's been particularly good, but every now and then it's hit me right in the feels which is what I'm desperately looking for. All the fandoms I desultorily dipped in and out of were full of coffeeshops and assassins who'd inexplicably become bakers. I'm at the point where that makes me back button harder and faster than anything I might have listed as a squick in the past.

My number one bulletproof kink remains, as anyone who has ever met me can testify, best friends turned enemies turned lovers. A bald head in the mix is just gravy. #riftfandoms

I'm also totally here for size differentials, ridiculous manhandling, and superpowered sex, but that's quite enough of that.

Fannish highlight of your year:

My two months in America, no doubt. Catching up with lj friends of yore. Eating and drinking. Ranking all the Bloody Marys in the land. Fat August. Sydney with my best gals (and my nemesis). And g/t of course (but that goes without saying).

Favourite new show/movie/comic/source text since last year:

The Great British Bakeoff. Yes, I am the very last person to arrive at this party, late with coke zero.

Favourite AO3/tumblr/twitter tag:

This year's undisputed new champions, hands down, no competition: #lava and #2forty2furious. Honourable mentions to: #fataugust, #lawschoolruinslives, #dcstilldeadtome, #nemesis, and #everythingbecomescharcoaleventually.

Where do you do the bulk of your fannish interaction? Is there a hotbed of awesome out there that someone might be missing out on? Any specific comms or tumblrs or rec sites or tags we should be following?

I spend all my time on twitter, lbr. I really want to be able to make Imzy work though, I just don't know how yet.

Are you taking part in Yuletide or Festivids this year? Are there any other fantastic exchanges we should all know about?

Yuletide for sure. Smut Swap was pretty great this year, and I hope it gets repeated next year.

Any thoughts/comments/memories you’d like to add to last year’s anniversary reminiscences?

I've been too busy for an Inevitable Smallville Renaissance. ;_;

Tea, Coffee, Homogenised Milk, Calci Trim? Tea, Calci Trim.

Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Lemonade, Juice? Zero.

Crudités or Junk? Both.

Sour cream dips or hummus? Both.

Favourite chip flavour: Salt and Vinegar.
