Definition of "Fandom": Eep, this is definitely a post-coffee question. People getting and staying enthusiastic about narratives. Thinking about your book/video game/ movie after you've read/played/watched it. Fangirls talking shit together.
How You "Discovered" Fandom: I went online as a twelve year old and there it was. More specifically, Unitec's "Writers' Window" site led me to fanfiction.net and fictionpress.com.
First Fandom and/or OTP: Pokémon.
Current Top Fandom and/or OTP: "Exchange fandom", where signing up to fanfiction exchanges is kind of a fandom all on its own. I most freqently write fic in small YA book fandoms.
One True Undying Always Returning Fandom and/or OTP: Apparently, Pokémon.
Favourite Trope: Competence porn. Also fond of identity shenanigans and pining.
Most Hated Trope: Amnesia. Infidelity. (For very different reasons, if that's not clear.)
Three Characters That Represent You In Some Way: tooooo haaaard, gonna throw out some at random. Jackal Segura from Solitaire. Michael from The Good Place. Utena Tenjou. Cedric Diggory? Your average guinea pig (animal not metaphor)?
If Only One Fic Survived the Apocalypse It Would Be: Nothing on my hard drive, that's for sure. I'm terrible at saving the stuff I like. If it were up to me it'd be a tonne of fics I meant to comment on and haven't yet. I'd travel the world saying, "hey, it's so great that you survived and built a desalination plant, good job on that soulbonding fic you wrote five years ago."
