Venues and accomodation, part the first

I'm 93% sure I do, indeed, know the venue. I will be calling a deaf old man to confirm in the next few days.

With regard to a prior question about whether an all-in-one venue was possible, the answer sadly is no. I *did* look, hard, and there just isn't anywhere that's big enough and cheap enough and open to porn enough, all at the same time.

I will research the accomodation options as soon as I've confirmed the venue; at the moment the same place as last year, or somewhere very similar, is likely the best option.



Given you guys have travelled the furthest and paid the most (depending on how awesome you are at booking) I am willing to move all the furniture out of my living room and turn it into a doss-house for the weekend. It would likely look very much like a teenage slumber party, with mattresses, camp beds, bean bags, and pillows. Obviously if you would rather sleep in a real bed in a real hotel room you can, and I will recommend one for you. But the offer's there if you need to take it up. It'd be like old times, except that the entire Pixie Palace would probably have fit into the top lounge at Stately Luthor Manor.

PS - I'm making a presentation about The Sparkly Alien from Planet Fierce (aka Adam Lambert), jsyk. It's a "keep myself sane" project while I study. Ok, it's more like a procrastination tool :( I'm also thinking about making the We're Not Watching For The Cars edition of Fast and Furious 4, if I get hold of a cleaner copy before Get Together.

I probably will, it's supposed to be coming out on dvd sometime soon, so I'll buy or download a better copy that the cam version I already have. Though a similar effect can be achieved by liberal use of the fastforward :)

I keep losing track of what I'm making with the other - is it more about Adam (and Kris and Allison, whom I also love) or funny clips from Idolatory (a web show about American Idol, that I've fallen for big time, and is way more entertaining than actually watching Idol)? I guess I'll see what it turns into.
