My definition of slash is: interpreting media with a same-sex focus, subtextual or textual (does that even make sense? I've been drinking)

I like slash because: it's hot, and shiny, and is made of awesome. And fandom is made of awesome (people, that is)

I discovered slash by: I was desperate for more Krycek-centric fic, and read slash despite thinking it involved people cutting each other (it was X-Files fandom, it was totally plausible).

My bullet proof kink: wake up married/arranged marriage, coming out/getting outed, pining

My major league squick: incest, underage, major power imbalances, humilitation

My guilty pleasure: I came here to make you dance tonight/I don't care if I'm a guilty pleasure for you/shut up/cause we won't stop/we're getting down til the sun's coming up

I first found out about (my first) g/t from/by: um...arysteia and china_shop and vaudevilles, I assume. Though I couldn't make it to the 1st one. I've been to #2 and #3 though.

Coke/Coke Zero/Sprite/Juice: coke zero, coke, sprite, juice (in that order)

Tea/Coffee: neither

Indian/Thai/Italian: all of the above, so long as I can be a wuss and pick some mild to medium options at Indian and Thai

I will use it to: RULE THE WORLD AND MAKE YOU ALL DO MY BIDDING! Alternatively, I will do two presentations: Who the fuck is Adam Lambert and why do people keep talking about him? and Fast and Furious (4): The We're Not Watching For the Cars Edition. The first is about 80% complete, and the second I'm thinking about working on, but am pondering that I should finish sobering up first.

Ahahaha. I love the way you still love all your old flames. You are a true and constant lover. Unlike me. I have come to the parting of the ways with Doctor Who, with Torchwood, with SGA... I won't say Smallville because that one never actually dies (remember g/t2 when I was in a foul mood with it, and accidentally pimped you and Bernice back in, through my 'Remember when it was good!' clips???)...

But I continue to be serially monogamous, all I'm reading is Trek now. And I've just realised I have eight days to write my entire Big Bang, and I don't even have a plot. On the positive side, I wrote my Spn one in four days. On the negative, I already had the whole story mapped out. *cries* I knew my good g/t mood wouldn't last.

Well, I'm not always true, McKay/Shepherd have been knocked off the list because I got so sick of the show by the end. Though often even when a show pisses me off, I'll often keep loving my pairing (Wes/Gunn and Clark/Lex and Jack/Ianto etc).

Speaking of which, the new Stargate series starts the weekend of GT. I vote we ignore this omen and don't watch the premiere ;)

Fast and Furious video is 19 minutes, plus a bit of time to explain backstory and fill in some of the context of the clips.

American Idol video is 21 minutes, plus time to explain context etc (a bit more time than the F&F context).

Yay for packed timetable! If there's only room for one thing from me, it's American Idol (because I've put way more effort into it *g*).
