Please comment to this post with when you will be arriving in Wellington. Be clear about which day you get in, and what time. Not because I'm Big Brother, but so we can organise transport, facilitate entertainment/liaison for those here on Friday, dinner for those in the mood etc, before we have our grand opening Saturday morning.

I'll be updating this post as info comes in, so let me know if anything changes too, please.

katrin and I get in on the 9pm flight from Auckland on the 1st Oct (Thurs), so we're effectively around Friday morning onwards. I'm thinking we'll go straight to the motel on Thursday and try to do all of the sleeping in the world in preparation for being social on the weekend.

(In reality obviously we will stay up late giggling and reading fanfic.)

What time do shenanigans start on Saturday? I'd sooner come down on Friday, but it's kinda the first game of the NHL season, and I can't miss it. I'd leave afterwards, but I'm not driving that far that late.

I fly in from Dunedin on Friday - arrive 6pm. Not sure how long shuttle/taxi from airport takes to get to The Base but would be up for dinner if a group was going and the times worked out.

stickmarionette and I are taking the bus down as a day trip, so we should get there about 6 or 7, though I feel this may depend more on traffic and conditions than scheduled time.

The SIDRAT is only so large. If you get a cab to the hostel though, I can *then* pick you up and we can go for a jaunt round the bay and icecream or something.
