Call for papers

Greetings all.

We're in the final countdown now, so this is the place to make explicit and official your intentions vis a vis contributions at the con. If you have a witty title and tag line for the programme (LOL!) stick it in your comment here. If you're still a WIP, can you just give me an indication of what you *think* you'd like to do, so I can shove it on a theoretical timetable, and we can liaise about how long you'll need, what resources are required etc.

This includes: meta discussions you plan to lead/moderate; show pimps/intros; ship manifestos; the ol' slash pictionary; new games; ideas for discussion you *don't* want to lead/moderate but would like added to a general panel, etc. Any ideas you have, throw them on this pile please.

I've done my Starsky and Hutch retrospective. It's fairly low tech (so my voice, lots) but does feature some vid material for the relief of the audience. It should take about ten minutes, fifteen at absolute most. Also, I can bring the DVDs if you want something for lunchtime watching etc.

Awesome! Awesome awesome awesome. Low tech is cool, suits the fandom. Yes, can you pick the single awesomest (that word again!) episode to seduce a noob please? Like the Pros ep from last year that reeled them in. Also, bring the dvds, I'd like to pirate them if you don't mind, so I can be seduced at my leisure. :D :D :D

Thing is, it's such an embarrassment of riches, I'll have to have a serious think. I'm sure I can bring in my hoard (and look the other way as needed. *g*)
