Having pretended to be an adult this morning and done a truckload of paper work, here I am.
Preferred first name: Mab
I have a different handle at DW/AO3: Nope, but my these days not very secret Alter Ego in Starsky and Hutch is
dalegardener
Reader/Writer/Vidder/All of the Above: Reader and writer
My current primary fandom: Pretty much an even split between The Sentinel (eight years and counting) and Starsky and Hutch.
My current secondary fandom(s): Pros, although I'm pottering on the fringes of Sherlock BBC. I also still think about writing in Sapphire and Steel. In terms of casually following stuff, I follow a lot. I am occasionally known to read Dean/Castiel, despite only having seen about five eps of season 1 and whatever vids pop up at Get Together.
Fandom(s) I’ve broken up with: I never break up with fandoms. Except X-Files, and that was a long time ago, and I'm not at all bitter, especially given that the bastard has snared my first born.
Fandom(s) I just can’t quit: Stargate Atlantis. One day I will watch all of season 5. One day....
OTP forever: Jim and Blair. Starsky and Hutch.
OTP sometimes: Bodie and Doyle. Sherlock and John
OTP never, baby! I'm OT3/OTTeam/OT? all the way: SGA team fic can still make me happy. My only OT3 is a crossover between two crappy films that only die-hard TS fans bother watching. I am probably the only person on Earth who ships it.
My bullet proof kink: Partner betrayal where it's not really betrayal or where the betraying partner is under duress, and it's all hurty misunderstandings. Finding this done well is hard.
My major league squick: Still not an RPF fan. Otherwise, aside from some of the more 'extreme' kinks on the net I will accept quite a lot from a good writer. I am getting more and more intolerant of obvious female character bashing in my old age.
My guilty pleasure: Some old non-con favourites that I imprinted on early in my fic reading career - often badly written or purple-prosed as well, so guilty times two.
My comment on slash is: I don't know why I like it, I just know that I do.
My comment on fandom more generally is: It has immeasurably enriched my life.
Coke/Coke Zero/Diet Coke/Sprite/Juice: Sprite and juice - refreshing together
Tea/Coffee: Tea please
Blue Top/Calci-Trim Milk: Trim
I will likely come for dinner Friday: Yes
I will likely come for dinner Saturday: Yes
I will likely come for dinner Sunday: Nope, sorry, train to catch.

Guess I have to claim this too, for Sentinel. Why was there so much of it?? And quite a few fuck or die scenarios. And I read it all!

Date: 2011-09-19 07:18 pm (UTC)Mmmmmm. Fuck or die.... I can think of two of those right off the bat, and I can remember someone tagging Hell of a Town with FoD, and I was surprised. And then I thought about it, and decided, yeah, maybe they were right. :-)
