Registration Form 2012
Preferred first name: Mab
I have a different handle at DW/AO3: mab_browne most places, except when I'm dale, which is my S&H handle
Reader/Writer/Vidder/All of the Above: reader/writer
My current primary fandom: The Sentinel. Since 2003.
My current secondary fandom(s): Starsky and Hutch, Maiden Rose.
Fandom(s) I’ve broken up with: I don't break up with fandoms. They just sit on the shelf and I take them down now and again. I read in a lot of fandoms because I have read everything in TS and S&H and there are only about twenty MR stories to be found on the web and I wrote two of those. I read slash, depending on my mood, in Sherlock, Pros, SGA, SPN, Due South, Star Trek TOS and Reboot, and I read occasional Crack-Van recs and gen for a truckload more.
Fandom(s) I just can’t quit: All of them apparently.
OTP forever: Jim/Blair, Starsky/Hutch, Klaus/Taki
OTP sometimes: Bodie/Doyle, McKay/Sheppard John Watson/his beautiful manpain
OTP never, baby! I'm OT3/OTTeam/OT? all the way: My only OT3 is for a crossover story I wrote between two really dodgy sources, and I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in the whole wide world who ships it. I am quite happy to read about the Avengers living in contented polyamory however. Recs?
My bullet proof kink: betrayal under duress
My major league squick: I don't think I get squicked by 'mainstream' stuff anymore, for fandom values of mainstream, although I tend to avoid A/O/B tropes and mpreg. Underage and certain sexual practices don't get my click at all. I don't read RPF, but I won't faint if it gets mentioned around me either.
My guilty pleasure: my newest fannish love contains several different flavours of partner rape, non-con and dub-con. These things always were a guilty pleasure but finding them done right is difficult.
My comment on slash is: I still like it.
My comment on fandom more generally is: I'm very text-based and conversation based in how I enjoy fandom, and the move to Tumblr makes me nervous. But after being in the 'LJ is killing our fandom' wars of nearly (gulp) ten years ago, I am trying not to be 'that fan'.
Coke/Coke Zero/Diet Coke/Sprite/Juice: Any are fine.
Tea/Coffee: tea
Blue Top/Calci-Trim Milk: calci-trim
I would prefer junk food/I would prefer crudites: I like both
I will likely come for dinner Friday: yes
I will likely come for dinner Saturday: yes
I will likely come for dinner Sunday: nope
