My major league squick: Angst, angst, angst, badly written and poorly characterised fiction, oh and Hurt/Comfort where there's ooudles of bloody hurt with lingering descriptions of torture and precious little comfort, character bashing, stories stated to be primaly about my OTP where another pairing creeps in and begins to dominate... not enjobable :-(
My guilty pleasure: um..... creature fic...ssh!, I can't get a handle on this Omega verse stuff but it's a bit like watching a car crash! Dark fic...
My comment on slash is: Yes please, but preferably with a hint of subtext from the source material please. What is it with slashing people who have never even met in canon!
My comment on fandom more generally is: Yep
