GT friends in the shaky zone

I just wanted to say hi to friends from Get Together down in the upper South Island or lower North Island. I hope you're all hanging in there and are OK. I wasn't directly affected up in Auckland but I spent a lot of time in past years in ChCh with my parents so I know how tough it is in the aftermath, with aftershocks and all the effects on infrastructure. Hugs to you all.

Hey buddy. All good here in Wellington, though frankly the aftershocks are working my last nerve. Also as a few days pass and more damage to buildings is revealed it's becoming very clear that the fact it was midnight was a real blessing. People would have been injured if not killed if it had been working hours in several cases.
