How does better (arguably) queer rep in canon affect your relationship with fandom? [snip] (...wow there's a blast from the mailing list past lol) Sometimes it means I want fic less bc there's not as much 'missing' from what I enjoy, other times it's just nice not having to worry about getting kicked in the metaphorical shins. Also preaching to the choir but add a side of words mean things and random ppl need to learn what isn't actually queerbaiting ffs! ...also tbh on an rpf front queer rep from cis men remains borderline nonexistent but I have so many delightful lesbians and bi women to enjoy in cricket and that fucking rules.
