I also read SGA from time to time.

I think Biggles counts as my first ever fandom, from long before I ever knew what fandom was. I wrote a radio play for it (in pencil) when I was twelve for a school assignment.

I'll have a look. Is it sad that I'm more disturbed by Algy and Biggles being cousins than the potential change to how I view my childhood heroes?

*coff* According to my research, it's possible that Biggles uses the word "cousin" in a different sense from how we would use it today, i.e. to indicate a distant cousin or member of extended family (rather than first cousin, as most English-speakers use it).

I may have put far too much thought into this ;)
